Wimäca International B.V. is a private company with limited liability, duly organized and existing under the laws of The Netherlands, having its registered office and place of business at Ekkersrijt 7418 (5692 HK) in Son en Breugel, The Netherlands (hereafter: ‘Floodingmanager’, ‘we’ or ‘us’).

This Privacy Statement applies to everyone who visits our website and to people whose personal data are processed by Floodingmanager in the context of its provision of services and/or the sale of products of Floodingmanager.

3. What personal data is being processed?

The personal data we process with respect to you are:

• Personal data provided by you such as:
  • contact details and other personal data needed for providing services. One the one hand these include details such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, job title(s) and/or (details of) your identification documents (identification data), and on the other hand, requests or case details (customer file) and financial information, such as a bank account number and credit card number;
  • contact details and other personal data filled in on contact forms or other web forms (e.g. username and (coded) password for our website and web shop). The precise content of the data depends on the content of the contact forms and web forms;
  • contact details provided during events, meetings, etc. These may also include details on business cards; and/or
  • Other personal data provided by you.

4. What is the purpose of collecting data?

We may use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To perform a contract in which you have engaged. Data from other (third) parties involved may also be processed.
• To authenticate (e.g. logging in at our website).
• To invoice for services and/or products.
• To stay in contact with you.
• To develop, improve and secure our products, services and website.

Personal data that Floodingmanager processes on your behaviour, such as your preferences, opinion, wishes and needs. This data can be derived from your surfing behavior on our website, for example through the newsletter or because you have requested information, from telephone calls and e-mail correspondence. • To prepare user statistics These are generic reports without any information on individual persons, such as the number of visitors and the duration of the visit. We use information obtained to improve our website.

5. On what grounds do we process personal data?

We process personal data when permitted on grounds of one of the legal bases cited in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are guided by the following legal bases:

  • We ask your consent for direct marketing purposes.
  • If we have requested and obtained your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time ([email protected]). 
• The processing is necessary to conclude and/or perform an agreement:
  • If you give us an assignment to provide products and/or services, we process personal data to the extent this is necessary in order to perform the assignment.
• Legitimate interest:
  • We may process personal data if we have a legitimate interest and this does not disproportionately breach your privacy. We use your personal data to inform you about products, discounts and offers, for instance;
  • We also have a legitimate interest if we use your personal data to contact you after you have approached us yourself;
  • We do not always need permission to contact you. If we obtain your email address as a result of providing services, we can offer you similar services via direct marketing. In that case, we have a legitimate interest in offering you these services.

6. Sharing personal data with third parties

7. How long do we keep your personal data?

We will retain your personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the data is processed, unless legal requirements obligate us to retain the personal data longer: 

• We will delete personal data if you have withdrawn your consent or have decided to opt out.
• We will keep personal data in our contact database for up to two years from the day the relationship ends. After this period of two years we shall delete your personal data.
• Personal data that was processed to verify the identity of a client or its representative will be kept for five years from the day the relationship ends.

8. How do we protect your personal data?

To ensure the security of your personal data, we have taken the following technical and organisational measures, among other things:

• Our systems are checked for suspicious behaviour via monitoring by a certified third party.
• A certified third party conducts tests on our network for internal and external vulnerabilities.
• Various systems have been put in place to prevent unauthorised access and exchange of personal data.
